
ICC Announce Official Fixtures For Champions Trophy 2025
The highly anticipated Pakistan vs. India match will take place on February 23 in Dubai, a highlight of the tournament
The International Cricket Council (ICC) has officially announced the fixtures for the ICC Champions Trophy 2025. The tournament, featuring eight top teams, will run from February 19 to March 9, with matches to be held in Pakistan and Dubai.
The event kicks off with Pakistan facing New Zealand in Karachi on February 19. A total of 15 matches will be played over 19 days, with Rawalpindi, Lahore, and Karachi hosting games in Pakistan. Dubai will also host several matches, including the group-stage games for India and the first semi-final.
The tournament’s final is scheduled for March 9 in Lahore, unless India qualifies, in which case the match will be moved to Dubai. Both semi-finals and the final will have reserve days to ensure fair play.
Group Stages
The teams are divided into two groups:
– Group A: Pakistan, India, New Zealand, and Bangladesh
– Group B: Australia, England, South Africa, and Afghanistan
The highly anticipated Pakistan vs. India match will take place on February 23 in Dubai, a highlight of the tournament. Other key matches include England vs. Australia in Lahore on February 22 and Afghanistan vs. South Africa in Karachi on February 21.
Each of the three Pakistani venues will host three group-stage matches, with Lahore also hosting the second semi-final. The Dubai leg of the tournament begins on February 20, with India playing Bangladesh.
