When Will Be ICC Awards 2024 Winners Announced?

The ICC has revealed the schedule for announcing the winners of the ICC Awards 2024. Starting January 24, the winners will be revealed over five days, celebrating the top performers in international cricket.

The announcements will kick off on January 24 and 25 with the unveiling of the five ICC Teams of the Year. These teams, selected by the ICC Voting Academy, include the standout XIs from Men’s Tests, ODIs, and T20Is, as well as Women’s ODIs and T20Is.  

Individual awards will begin on January 25 with the announcement of the Men’s and Women’s T20I Cricketers of the Year.

The ICC Awards recognize the best performances across formats, including Tests, ODIs, and T20Is. Last year saw an action-packed calendar, featuring two T20 World Cups for both men and women, alongside exciting Test and ODI matches.  
Among the nominees for individual awards are some of the brightest stars of the game, such as Jasprit Bumrah, Travis Head, Joe Root, Melie Kerr, Laura Wolvaardt, and Chamari Athapaththu. These players left a mark with their exceptional performances on the global stage.

The winners are determined by a combination of votes from the ICC Voting Academy, an independent panel of media experts, and global cricket fans. Last month, shortlists for nine out of 12 individual categories were announced, followed by a 12-day voting period. This year, an impressive 1.5 million fan votes were cast on the ICC website.  

The ICC Awards, first introduced in 2004, remain a prestigious recognition for excellence in cricket.
