Eng vs Ind, 4th Test: Indian batting fails again to impress

The fourth of the five-match Test series game between England and India is underway at The Oval but things are quite similar for Virat Kohli and chaps in comparison to the second test.

England, after opting to field first, conceded a below-average trail of 192 runs. Kohli, on his verge, to score a century in the last two years, deserted once again on 50 in Ollie Robbinson’s hands.

The men in blue collapsed badly but Shardul Thakur’s contribution of a quick inning of 57 coming off 36 balls assist them to a total of 191 during their opening inning.

Joe Root’s men, on their route to track for an easy-to-chase trail, are quite near to the destination. But with 5 wickets in hands at the time of writing alongside 56 more runs needed to develop a decent lead on visitors, the things may look balanced for two sides with the passing hour.

Considering the second test, the visitors could add 78 and 278 runs sequentially in two innings giving a chance to the hosts to triumph the battle by an inning and 76 runs.

You can drop your analysis on Eng vs Ind, 4th Test. What does it seem to you? Will Kohli and co step back in the game or will English men give an edge to them once again?
