England Restricts Pakistan To 145 in 5th T20i
In the fifth T20 of the series, Pakistan set a target of 146 runs to the visiting team England to win, the national team returned to the pavilion in the 19th over.
When Pakistan started batting, captain Babar Azam returned to the pavilion after scoring 9 runs, after which the rest of the team kept getting out at regular intervals. Opener Muhammad Rizwan scored 63 runs.
Shan Masood 7, Haider Ali 5, Iftikhar Ahmed 15, Asif Ali 5, Muhammad Nawaz 0, Shadab Khan 7 runs and debutant all-rounders Aamir Jamal 10 and Haris Rauf 8 runs.
Mark Wood and Sam Curran picked 3 wickets each while David Willey picked 2 wickets. Chris Woakes also picked his first wicket in international Cricket for England since march.
Toss
All-rounder Aamir Jamal is making his debut in the Pakistan team while Shadab Khan and Hyder Ali are back in the team. Khushdil Shah, Usman Qadir and Mohammad Hasnain are not playing today’s match.
David Malan, Sam Curran, Chris Woakes and Mark Wood return to the England squad while Will Jacks, Ollie Stone, Recy Topley and Liam Dawson are rested.
It should be noted that the five-match series is tied at 2-2.
