Muhammad Rizwan Wins The ICC Player Of The Month Award

Pakistan’s wicketkeeper-batsman Muhammad Rizwan won the International Cricket Council (ICC) Player of the Month award. Mohammad Rizwan has been named the ICC Men’s Player of the Month for the month of September.

Last week, the ICC announced the Player of the Month nominations for the players who performed well in the month of September. Mohammad Rizwan was named Player of the Month after scoring 553 runs in Asia Cup and T20 series against England.

On the other hand, India’s Harmanpreet Kaur has been named the ICC Women’s Player of the Month. Along with Rizwan, Australia’s Cameron Green was shortlisted for the first time for his excellent all-round performance in the ODI series against New Zealand and T20 against India.

Apart from this, Indian spinner Axar Patel managed to get the Player of the Month nomination for the first time for his outstanding performance against Australia.
