National T20 Cup complete schedule and squads

The much-anticipated Pakistan’s domestic tournament, National t20 Cup 2021 is just around the corner. The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has on-screened the complete schedule and squads for all the regions today.

As promised recently, the board has included Pakistan T20 World Cup 2021 squad in the NT20. The event will now serve as the practising forum to the Wt20 squad following NZ tour cancellation.

The contest, which is going to be ‘more’ high-class this time, will witness Azam Khan, Khushdil Shah, Hasan Ali, Mohammad Hafeez, Imad Wasim, Mohammad Hasnain, Asif Ali, Haris Rauf, Imad Wasim, Mohammad Nawaz, Mohammad Wasim Jnr and Shaheen Shah Afridi.

Also, Fakhar Zaman, Usman Qadir, and Shahnawaz Dahani, who were named among the reserved player for the Wt20 squad, will also feature in the NT20 for their respective regions.

It is to bed noted that NT20’s first leg is likely to be played in Rawalpindi instead of Multan from 23rd September to 3rd October. On the other hand, the second phase is scheduled for Lahore, Gadaffi Stadium from 6th to 13th October.
