Pakistan set to host ICC Women’s World Cup Qualifiers: Sources
KARACHI: Following the ICC Men’s Champions Trophy 2025, Pakistan is set to host another major ICC event, as the country has been awarded the hosting rights for the ICC Women’s World Cup 2025 Qualifiers, sources told Geo News on Tuesday.
According to details, the qualifying tournament will take place in multiple cities across Pakistan ahead of the Women’s World Cup, which is scheduled to be held in India later this year.
A total of six teams—Bangladesh, Ireland, Scotland, Thailand, West Indies, and hosts Pakistan—will compete in the qualifiers.
Sources indicate that the event is likely to be held in April, with the official schedule expected to be announced soon by the International Cricket Council (ICC).
