Pakistan Squad to Begin Preparations for Tri-Nation Series and Champions Trophy 2025

LAHORE: Pakistan’s 15-member squad will commence training on February 4 ahead of the upcoming home tri-nation ODI series and the much-anticipated ICC Men’s Champions Trophy 2025, set to take place from February 19 to March 9.

As per reports, the national team will gather in Lahore to begin their preparations for these crucial tournaments.

The first training session is scheduled for Wednesday afternoon at the Lahore City Cricket Association (LCCA) ground, followed by evening sessions on February 5 and 6. The team will then have a final practice session on Friday evening, just before the start of the tri-series on February 8.

The tri-nation series, featuring New Zealand and South Africa, will serve as a key part of Pakistan’s preparations for their Champions Trophy title defense. The tournament will follow a single-league format, with the final set to take place on February 14 in Karachi.

Following the conclusion of the tri-series, the Champions Trophy 2025 will commence on February 19, featuring 15 matches across Karachi, Lahore, Rawalpindi, and Dubai.
