Pakistan To Play Only Two Tests In Srilanka
No progress made on the issue of including one-day matches in the national cricket team’s tour of Sri Lanka.
According to media reports, talks between the Sri Lanka and Pakistan Cricket Boards regarding the inclusion of ODI matches in the Test series could not progress.
Reports have said that Sri Lanka had proposed to play an ODI series with Pakistan in view of the World Cup scheduled in India, but the white ball series has been dropped due to unavoidable reasons from both the boards.
The series between Pakistan and Sri Lanka will consist of only Test matches, of which 2 Test matches are part of the ICC Test Championship.
Sources say that this Test series will be held in July and Sri Lanka Cricket will announce the schedule soon.
