PCB chairman reviews preparations at Gaddafi Stadium ahead of the inauguration

Mohsin Naqvi, Chairman of the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB), returned to the country early this morning after an international trip and promptly visited Gaddafi Stadium to assess the preparations for the opening ceremony. He expressed his satisfaction with the progress and issued directives for any remaining arrangements to be completed.

Naqvi stressed that the event should reflect the magnificence of the newly renovated Gaddafi Stadium.

“Today marks a moment of pride for Pakistan,” he said, underscoring the importance of the event.

The PCB Chairman also commended the team responsible for the stadium’s renovation, adding, “The entire team deserves credit for completing the renovation of Gaddafi Stadium in record time. Both cricket fans and players will benefit from the state-of-the-art facilities available at the venue.”

It is important to note that Pakistan’s Prime Minister, Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif, will officially inaugurate Gaddafi Stadium today. The opening ceremony will feature an exciting performance by a renowned singer, accompanied by fireworks, a light show, and an impressive drum display. Cricket fans can attend the event free of charge.
