Rahul & Iyer Returns To Asia Cup Squad
The Indian Cricket Board has announced its squad for the Asia Cup hosted by Pakistan and Srilanka at the end of this month.
The team for the Asia Cup was announced in a statement released on the Indian Cricket Board’s social media account.
Rohit Sharma will lead the Indian team for the Asia Cup, while other players include Virat Kohli, Shubman Gill, Sheryas Iyer, Surya Kumar Yadav, Tilak Verma, Ishan Kishan, Hardik Pandya, Jasprit Bumrah, Mohammad Shami, Mohammad Siraj and Prasid Krishna.
Apart from this, Ravindra Jadeja, Shirdal Thakur, KL Rahul, Axar Patel and Kuldeep Yadav are also part of the squad while Sanju Samson has been included in the squad as a standby player.
It should be remembered that the Asia Cup is starting from August 30, the first match in the Asia Cup between Pakistan and Nepal will be played in Multan, while the teams of Pakistan and India will face each other on September 2 in Kandy.
