Pakistan’s wicketkeeper batsman Muhammad Rizwan requested prayers from the nation.

In the video released by the Pakistan Cricket Board, Muhammad Rizwan spoke in defense of the players.

Rizwan said that victory is very important for any team, the team suffered defeat in the two matches of the World Cup, it was a lot of pain for our team and the nation, but we try for what we have in our hands, so This defeat was painful for us too, as the team players fought against Netherlands, Allah gave us back our momentum.

The wicket-keeper batsman said that despite the presence of Haris Rauf, Shaheen and Naseem Shah, what we were missing was completed by Allah in the form of Wasim Jr. Wasim is improving. Although we lost two matches, what was positive was Wasim’s performance while Shadab Khan is also an important pillar of our team.

The national player supported the captain saying that the next two matches are very important, Babar Azam got out early against Netherlands but he is a big player, hopefully he will play in big matches, the nation is requested to remember us in prayers.
